Komet Sales merges its solutions with Floral Computer Systems (“FCS”) to create the most comprehensive software solution for the floral industry and announces the development of a new “Wholesaler 3.0” solution. This announcement follows news of Komet’s acquisition of Unosof, the leading flower farm software vendor, in October 2023. The combined company now connects more than $2.5 billion of inventory across all three tiers of the floral supply chain - growers, importers, and wholesalers.

The purpose of this project is to accelerate business to business (B2B) transactions as right now this process requires a manual mapping which is cumbersome, time consuming and error prone. 

Why It’s a Good Idea to Establish a “Short Name” for Each Location

Location names can be tricky: they're used to identify the locations and are used as the company name in the invoices, but sometimes these names can be just a bit too long when it comes to reports. In order to address this, there's a field in the location setup called "Short Name".
